Highlights
I came back from paternity leave to some of the most exciting times I’ve ever had at Klaviyo. We had our IPO, an event I was honored to be a part of, and then hosted our Partner Advisory Council in our Boston HQ.
While these could be separate posts, it works out pretty well to combine them. Klaviyo wouldn’t be where we are today without the dedication and expertise of our Partners. While the best thing our Partners do is make our mutual customers more successful, they are also a deep knowledge base when it comes to improving the Klaviyo product.
From the Partner Advisory Council perspective, it was so great to meet and learn from Jen Spencer Jen Brennan David Visser Jacob Sappington Justin Ragsdale Thomas Grabner Thomas Pedegaye Rebecca Jones Aimee Sutton Sam Sherson Adam Sharon-Zipser Chip Moloney.
And from the Klaviyo and IPO perspective, I wouldn’t have been here if it wasn’t for the commitment, patience, and guidance of the excellent leaders and team members I’ve had here. Thank you Scott Segel Allie Adams Geanna Flavetta Adrianne Poole Rich Gardner Jenn Brisebois
Thank you everyone and I can't wait to see what 2024 and beyond brings!
Presenting to large audiences when I have the spotlight is one of my strengths. However, when competing for screen time with small, internal audiences, I sometimes struggle to tell a concise and impactful story.
I’d recommend this course to anyone trying to address either skill above. We went through inductive vs. deductive reasoning, keeping speech structure to 3-5 points, practiced 2 minute storytelling and much more.
Thank you to Klaviyo for the generous learning stipend and providing an environment where learning and growth is encouraged.
I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Effective Organizational Communication from Professional Development - Harvard Division of Continuing Education! #development #communication #klaviyo
