Veronika Stelmakh is a renowned professional in the field of electrical engineering and a visionary leader in energy technology.

She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), complemented by a Master of Science (MS) in the same field, also from MIT, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.

With a track record of diverse roles and experiences, Veronika has served in key positions such as CEO & Co-Founder at Mesodyne, leveraging her expertise in driving technological innovations that significantly enhance energy efficiency and performance.

Her contributions extend beyond the corporate realm, having been an ORISE Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory, a Postdoctoral Researcher at MIT, and a Graduate Research Assistant in various cutting-edge research groups at MIT, including the Photonics and Modern Electro-Magnetics Group and the Optical and Quantum Communications Group.

Veronika's professional journey also includes valuable experiences outside academia, such as working as an Applications Engineer at International Rectifier and as an Eco Responsibility Intern at Sun Microsystems.

At Mesodyne, Veronika spearheaded the development of the revolutionary LightCell™ power generators, which have redefined energy density standards, boosting the endurance of small systems by 10 times compared to traditional batteries.
