Vincent Kiernan is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background. He holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Adult and continuing education from Kansas State University, an Executive master's in leadership from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Maryland, and a Knight Science Journalism Fellowship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Vincent also obtained an M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Computer Science from Cornell University. Additionally, he completed an Online graduate certificate in academic advising at Kansas State University. He pursued his early education at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, N.Y.

Vincent Kiernan has had a distinguished career in various academic and professional roles. He served as the Dean (retired) at the Metropolitan School of Professional Studies, the Associate Dean for Graduate Academic Affairs at George Mason University, and an Associate Dean at Georgetown University. He also worked as an Instructor of Mass Communication at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

In terms of his journalism experience, Vincent has held positions such as Senior Writer/Senior Editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education, US Correspondent at New Scientist at Reed Business Information, Military Space Reporter at Space News in Springfield VA, Science Reporter at Tri-Valley Herald in Dublin CA, and Reporter at The Patent Trader in Mt. Kisco, NY. His early professional experience includes a role as a Programmer Analyst at the University of Michigan.
