Zev Steen is a former technology entrepreneur and educator who has been convicted of serious crimes involving child sexual exploitation. He was the Founder and CEO of MirageID, a company that provided isolated browsers for business privacy.1 Steen also founded SequelTracker, a tool for authors to expand their readership.1

Despite his convictions, some members of the Baltimore Jewish community have reportedly supported Steen, including requests for leniency from certain rabbis.4 However, advocacy groups like ZA'AKAH have called for transparency in the case.4
